Our passion for building wine cellars began in 1996 while visiting friends who lived in Belgium in a beautiful downtown flat. What was supposed to be a quick trip to the terrace level of the house to select two bottles of wine for the evening turned into a thirty minute stay in their wine cellar.

As we walked through the wooden gate into to their cellar we were met with the scene of white washed brick forming the resting places for countless bottles of wine. In the corner of the wine cellar there was a small wooden table with a single candle, and one chair. This space was so inviting yet personal at the same time, it spawned the thought “everyone should have a space like this in their homes!” Little did we know then, that during this experience, we were staring at our future.
